The Priors Dental Practice, based in Penkridge has been shortlisted for a national award for its treatment of nervous patients.
The Penkridge-based private practice has been announced as a finalist at this year’s Private Dentistry Awards, which take place on Friday 9th December at the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster.
The Priors hopes to add to its growing list of national and regional accolades. Last year the team won the award for best patient care throughout the Midlands and in 2013 it was named as the best orthodontic practice nationwide and the best implant practice in the Midlands.
Dr Mark Emms, Principal Dentist at The Priors Dental Practice comments: “The Private Dentistry awards are the Oscars of the dentistry world and we’re thrilled to be in the top ten shortlisted practices nationwide for our treatment of nervous patients.”
He continues: “The Priors team members are all fully trained and experienced in treating nervous and phobic patients. We always take the time to listen to our patients’ concerns and address anything that they may find stressful. We ensure that we build a close rapport, which our nervous patients find extremely comforting and reassuring.”
As part of their application for the award, The Priors Dental Practice had to outline how they support and meet the needs of nervous patients. The clients praised their “sympathetic and supportive” approach, and the “friendly, comforting and encouraging” nature of the team.
The Priors receives high numbers of patient referrals from other dentists in the UK and overseas thanks to its specialist implant facilities in Penkridge and multi-skilled dental team. Dental Implants can be placed for patients who require a solution for missing teeth or unsightly gaps and many nervous patients have benefitted from visiting The Priors.
