Staffordshire author and businesswoman Grace Marshall is celebrating after her book ‘How to be REALLY productive’ was named ‘Management Book of the Year’ in the Commuter’s Read category of the Chartered Management Institute Awards (CMI).

Grace, age 36 from Wildwood, is a productivity trainer, coach and international speaker. Her second book, published by Pearson, is named: ‘How to be REALLY productive… Achieving clarity and getting results in a world where work never ends.”

The book draws on Grace’s many years of experience as a business owner, coach and productivity trainer with Think Productive, as well as her own life experience as a busy working mum of two to Oliver, 11 and Catherine, 8.

Grace attended the CMI Management Book awards ceremony at The British Library with her husband Grante and was delighted when ‘How to be REALLY productive’ was named ‘Best Commuter’s Read.’ Grace was presented with the top accolade by awards judge Delroy Beverley, who is Chairman of the Board at the Bradford University School of Management and holds a number of directorships and board positions in the UK.

Mr Beverley commented: “This book is a breath of fresh air, it reads like you are sat with the author having an honest and open conversation. Each chapter comfortably guides you to reflect on how we approach our lives with a coaching style that encourages solutions. “

He added: “This is a book I’ll be returning to again and again.
